Registered Device Service Privacy Policy

INTRODUCTION

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) sets forth the policy of Mantra Softech (India) Private Limited, a company registered under the Companies Act, 1956, (Company) and having its registered office at B-203, 2nd Floor, Shapath Hexa, Nr. Gujarat High Court, Opp. Kargil Petrol Pump, S.G. Highway, Sola, Ahmedabad-380060, Gujarat, India (“Company”, “we”, “us” and/or “our”), with regard to the collection, usage and protection of data or information that the users (“you”, “your”) may provide to us while using this application (“Application”) and through other related services.

RD-Service is the application specially designed for usage of registered device for AADHAAR authentication with UIDAI. As UIDAI has discontinued public devices and mandate registered device, this app will be used to registered device and capture the biometric data as per UIDAI guidelines.

The application RD-Service does not collect any user data on the developer's server, however; for L0 devices by using Play-Integrity API of google utility, may google can collect the data on its own server that is separate from developer's server.

COLLECTION OF DATA

RD service collecting some data such as IP Address of the device, IMEI number and other handset details as per UIDAI guidelines for tractability purposes. However, this is only limited to tracing purposes and no further utilize in different purposes.

SHARING OF DATA

As this application is not collecting any user personal data such as account password, bank related information etc. with this app on developer server, we don't share your personal information with third parties.

Please note, RD service specially designed for capture biometric data using biometric scanner for Aadhaar authentication purpose. RD service capturing biometric data and converting into signed and encrypted format before sharing it to any third-party applications. Biometric data being encrypted with UIDAI public key certificate that can be only decrypted by UIDAI it-self. Not even the app and any other intermediate or third-party can decrypt and utilize this data.

Before initiate call to the RD service for capturing the biometric data from any of the third-party application, user must ensure that the third-party application collecting explicit user consent before capture biometric data as per the UIDAI’s guidelines.

DATA USAGE

The collected data will be used for the logging purposes only. This data will be shared to the government of India as and when asked.

The data collection purpose is just for the traceability purposes and will be submitted to the government of India as and when asked.

We are collecting the android id, location (based on user permission), fcm id, mac address (if possible), ip address (if possible) of the android handset for the traceability of the application usage and will be submitted to the government of India as and when asked.

DATA SECURITY

We prioritize the security of your information. We do not collect any personally identifiable information such as mobile numbers, email addresses, or financial details. The data we collect is limited to device-related information essential for the application's functionality and traceability.

To protect the integrity of this data, we employ robust security measures. This includes the use of strong dual-encryption algorithms and secure SSL protocols to safeguard data transmission.

While we do not store sensitive user data on our servers, we understand the importance of data protection. The collected information is primarily used for logging purposes and poses minimal risk to user privacy. However, we maintain strict security protocols to protect against potential breaches.

DATA RETENTION

While the data collected by application does not fall under the definition of personal or sensitive information as per applicable privacy laws, we understand the importance of data protection. The information we gather is primarily for logging purposes and is of a general nature. A potential breach of this data is unlikely to have a direct impact on individual users as it does not contain personally identifiable information.

Nevertheless, we prioritize data security and have implemented robust measures. Data transmission is secured through strong dual-encryption algorithms and SSL protocols to protect the integrity of the information.

According to UIDAI regulations, records must be maintained for at least 6 months.

GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of India and the courts in Ahmedabad shall have the exclusive jurisdiction.
